The WBPSC has successfully conducted the West Bengal Civil Service (Prelims) exam for the purpose of recruitment of candidates to various posts of Group A, B, C & D. The written examination (WBCS Preliminary exam) was conducted in online computer based mode. The exam was divided into 8 sections. Each section consisted of 25 marks making a total of 200 marks. A composite time of 2½ hours were given to complete the examination. The questions were asked from English Language, Indian History, Indian Polity and Economy etc.

The Public Service Commission, West Bengal has notified through their official website that only those candidates who will be able to score more the qualifying marks in WBCS Paper-I, as per the WBCS prelims cutoff, will be eligible for WBCS Paper-II. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) shall Prepare an All India List of the Candidates, who Obtain the Minimum Qualifying Marks in the Optical Mark-up Recognition Based Written Examination as fixed by the Commission at their discretion. UPSC Combined Defence Services (I) Examination 2019 Result:
The Union Public Service Commission will Announce in July 2019 the Result for the Combined Defence Services (I) Examination 2019.
THE CANDIDATES, WHO HAVE QUALIFIED IN THE WRITTEN TEST OF THE COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION, SHALL HAVE TO REGISTER THEMSELVES ON THE RECRUITING DIRECTORATE WEBSITE IN ORDER TO ENABLE THEM TO RECEIVE E-CALL UP FOR THE SERVICES SELECTION BOARD INTERVIEW. 
SSB Intelligence & Personality Test (IPT) 2019: 
The Candidates Declared Successful in the Combined Defence Services (I) Examination 2019 shall be put to Undergo the Intelligence and Personality Test to be conducted by the Services Selection Board as follows:
The SSB Procedure consists of two stage Selection process- Stage I and Stage II. Only those candidates who have cleared the Stage-I, shall be permitted to appear for Stage II. The details are:

Stage I comprises Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Tests are Picture Perception *Description Test (PP&DT). The candidates will be shortlisted based on combination of performance in QIR Test and PP and DT.
Stage II comprises Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. These tests are conducted over Four (04) days. The details of these tests are given on the Indian Army (Join Indian Army) Website.

Phase I
would comprise Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion Test

 
The Candidates declared QUALIFIED in Phase I shall be allowed to appear in Phase II.  The Candidates declared NOT QUALIFIED in Phase-I would be sent back.

Phase II
shall comprise Psychological Testing, Group Testing and Interview. The Test shall be held over Four (04) days.
The Successful Candidates shall be put to Medical Examination that would be held during 03 – 05 Days.

Selection Criteria:
The Candidates recommended by the Services Selection Boards (SSBs) and declared Medically Fit in the Medical Examination will be selected for Training in the Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala based on the All India Merit (AIM) and on the number of the Vacancies. The All India Merit will be prepared as per the SSB awarded Marks.
Procedure for Selection:
The Services Selection Board Interview spanning 03 – 05 Days shall be conducted in 02 (Two) Stages; viz., Stage I Test consists of the Intelligence Test (IT), Picture Perception Test (PPT) and Group Discussion (GD). Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day. Stage II Test comprises Psychological Testing (PT), Group Testing (GT) and Personal Interview (PI), which shall last 04 Days. The Successful Candidates would, thereafter, be put to undergo Medical Examination (ME) (Approx. Duration 03 – 05 Days).

KTET – 2019 : Qualifying Marks
The Candidates having scored above 60% Marks in the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2019 shall be considered KTET Passed’ or ‘K-TET         Qualified’; hence, the same shall remain applicable for all other Categories as well.
