2018-19 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Preseason Boys Hockey Team

The 2018-19 American Family Insurance ALL-USA preseason boys hockey team was selected based on past performance, level of competition and strength of schedule.
Bobby Brink, a junior forward from Minnetonka (Minn.) was a Third Team selection last spring and is the only returnee from the 2017-18 ALL-USA team. He is one of 12 Minnesota skaters on the preseason team. Massachusetts is next with five selections, including a pair of teammates from (Brookline, Mass.) Dexter Southfield in John Farinacci and Derek Mullahy. Wisconsin has two picks, while Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York all have one.

Donovan participated in the CCM All-American Prospects Game in September and NHL Central Scouting rates him as an early-round pick in next year’s draft.</p>

<strong>Noteworthy: </strong>Cohen was a Wisconsin First Team All-State selection as a junior, going 26-0-1 between the pipes with a 94.4 save percentage and a 1.05 goals against average. He recorded nine shutouts to lead the Raiders to the state title.</p>

<strong>Noteworthy: </strong>Fritsinger is one of the main reasons the Minneapolis Star Tribune lists Andover as one of the favorites heading into the 2018-19 season. Fritsinger went 18-4 a year ago with a 1.87 goals against average and a 92.6 save percentage for the Huskies, who lost the eventual state runner-up in the sectional final.</p>
